What games are compatible to Deus Ex HR?

Give games that are similar to Deus Ex Human RevolutionWhat games are compatible to Deus Ex HR?
Prototype, Halo Reach, Deus Ex Invisible wars :DWhat games are compatible to Deus Ex HR?
Deus Ex and Deus Ex Invisible War. So similar it's almost like they're in the same series.

Deus Ex: Human Revolutions - Graphics?

Well, I had watched a video on it and they didn't seem very good. Sort of like the game wasn't trying to have good graphics. Looked very plain and un-textured. Was that just me and did the game actually have nice graphics? Or am I right? ThanksDeus Ex: Human Revolutions - Graphics?
depends on your definition of nice graphics...the game looks good on maximum, but the developer wasn't trying to make a masterpiece...it's an RPG...it's about the story/tactics/gameplay.Deus Ex: Human Revolutions - Graphics?
iv seen worse graphics on games

was not the best

i played it on the lowest setting not sure how high settings looked

but game play it self was great

story line it self was a big let down

AC brotherhood or Deus Ex: human revolutions?

Ive been trying to decide between these two games to get next but I can decide. Which do you think is better?AC brotherhood or Deus Ex: human revolutions?
I beat assassins creed brotherhood and played dues ex but assassins creed is way better trust me.

Was the achievement glitch in Deus Ex ever fixed?

Ive just started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and I remember hearing of an achievement glitch for a pacifist achievement, where the game would count knock outs as kills. Anyone know if this achievement was ever fixed? Was the achievement glitch in Deus Ex ever fixed?
Never heard of this glitch. I got full achievements.

EDIT: If this glitch is affecting you then it's a really rare glitch affecting just a handful of copies. I've been looking online and I've found nothing from EIDOS Montreal confirming this glitch even exists (from their point of view) or that they've done anything about it. So answer your question = NO

I, like many others worldwide, have managed to get this achievement without a problem so this problem isn't a standard one, so don't be surprised if there isn't much response.

Conclusion: Either =

a) You've got a localized glitch in which case you should contact their support line and see if they are able to do anything to help you. (The number for your area/region should be in the booklet that came with the game, somewhere in the back.)

b) There is no glitch and you've overlooked some small detail or accidentally killed someone in your playthrough, but didn't notice that you did (happen to me on my first playthrough.) If this is the case then play it through again, just be more careful. Was the achievement glitch in Deus Ex ever fixed?
It can be attained.

Edit: How does confirming you can get it not help?

Does Deus Ex have an access pass or online play?

I was thinking of renting Deus Ex Human Revolution but I have also considered buying it and if anyone could answer these questions for me it would be a great help!

Will it require a one time use code to access certain in game content like Mass Effect 2 did?

Will it have online multiplayer?

Will it have any DLC?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!Does Deus Ex have an access pass or online play?
Human Revolution doesn't have multiplayer, it's single player only. But you get some dlc if you pre-order it or get one of the special editions which is included in the box as a one use code. No dlc has been released on xbox live or psn yet but they probably will do in future as missions and extra weapons etc.Does Deus Ex have an access pass or online play?
Nope, only single player. But REALLY good.Does Deus Ex have an access pass or online play?
Nope. But it's still really fun. You will probably have more fun playing Deus EX HR than any of your multiplayer games

  • Can DLC for Deus Ex from one provider work for the game on a different provider?

Hello I know my question title is a bit confusing so I try to explain much more clearly now. I brought the game Deus EX: Human revolution on a website Onlive because the first game you buy is 拢1 so I did but I want to get some DLC for it but I couldn't find it on onlive.com only on steam, so I was wondering if I buy the DLC on steam would it work on the game I got on onlive because I don't want to waste money buying the DLC and it doesn't work. I tried to look at both websites about it and I cant find anything about it. So if some could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank YouCan DLC for Deus Ex from one provider work for the game on a different provider?
It will not, sorry to say. OnLive games arent compatible with STEAM Dlc.

Question about my graphics card and Dues Ex: Human Revolution?

I know I need to upgrade to a better graphics card but I am wondering how Deus Ex: Human Revolution will look on my PC. I can run every game I have fine but Deus Ex recommended specs is for a Radeon HD 5850. The problem is that I have a Radeon HD 4850. Does anyone know how the graphics will look with the HD 4850, maybe compared to a game like Mass Effect 2. If it's not going to look that good on my pc then i'll probably just buy it for PS3. Thanks guys!Question about my graphics card and Dues Ex: Human Revolution?
A 4850 should still run it well and it will certainly still look better than the PS3 version, you may need to turn down a couple of the settings but other than that i can't see there being any problems.Question about my graphics card and Dues Ex: Human Revolution?
More than enough!Question about my graphics card and Dues Ex: Human Revolution?
The Radeon HD 4850 will be way more than enough, trust me.

their HD 5850 recommendation is just weird because this isn't such a demanding game.

Will Deus Ex Human Revolution Run On My Lap Top?

    i have an Intel g62

the main problem is my graphics card

i can run a lot of games on it smoothly though for example FallOut3, FallOut New Vegas, Oblivion,

Bullet Storm, and Half Life 2Will Deus Ex Human Revolution Run On My Lap Top?
You didn't really give us any information about your system, but judging from what it can run, I'd say you'll be fine. Will Deus Ex Human Revolution Run On My Lap Top?
look up on google the requierments for deus ex then open your computers disc space frames persecond and all that fun stuff then see if u can get the game with the stuff u have i had to do that with team fortress 2 and its very easy and i learned my computer sucks so ya

Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Skyrim?

I can only get one of these games for christmas. I like cover based third person shooters. I also like the freedom of choice and sandbox levels. I enjoy war games and I want a good inventory system like the survival horror genre has. I like guns better than swords, mainly because I always feel like swords never do any damage. I LOVE a good story and boss fights. This will be for the xbox 360. I will play this on a 32 inch TV. I like to use a mix of stealth and action. I like open world games. Thanks!Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Skyrim?
My preference is Skyrim. However what you seem to be saying is that Deus Ex would be more suited to what you want. Nearly everything you have said fits deus ex. However it is not to open worlded. You can explore but it takes about 3 minutes to cross each city (there are 2).

Hope this helps i enjoyed both but i prefer skyrim. Deus ex is for you however.
Skyrim for sure. Its perk system isnt a incomprehensibly confusing mess of walls of text and abilites that may or may not do anything at all. Skyrim is a much more focused and user friendly package that offers a massive open world for you to explore including a crapload of dungeons and quests to take on to level your character, as well as tons of side quests and phat lewtz to earn. Super fun.Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Skyrim?
I think you should get Skyrim it is a first person game and its not war but it was game of the year but if you want a third person shooter go for Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row or Deus EX human Revolution. If you just want a fun game with boss fights definitely go for Batman Arkham City or Batman Arkham Asylum.
Very Very tough choice! Ive played Deus ex and its kind of like a futuristic shooter but with an excellent story line. BUT. Skyrim just plain kicks ***. You do a ton of stuff, including sword battles but there are other methods too. Like using magic. plus the open world is absolutely awesome. If you buy 1 game at toys r us u can get another 50% off this week!Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Skyrim?
    Both..

Is DEUS EX Human Revolution have Good plot?

I am a guy who buys games just to play the campaign. my favs are Witcher series, Mass effect Series and POP Series(1,2 and 3). My friend told me that Dues EX series offers a very good story, Pls help me decide and please suggest me some good games which has a very good campaign....(NOT COD)Is DEUS EX Human Revolution have Good plot?
look, i don't know what console do you play on, but here is a list, take what you need:

1.God of war Series (1-3):it's not to be missed ever, it's especially for it's superb, unbelievable story.

2.Assassin's Creed Series: play it over and over and voila ....you are an Assassin.

3.Batman Arkham Asylum %26amp; City: it's the real deal. a masterpiece.

4.Vanquish, not much of a story , but great gameplay.

    Individual games:

    1.Uncharted 2.

    2.Devil may cry 3 %26amp; 4.

3.Skyrim (don't play on PS3, very laggy and buggy).
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is extreme! The system is very easy to understand, with meaningful options, and you will end up with a character that supports your game play style after only a few missions worth of xp. The Hacking is a neat little sub game that you can easily master and it is so well integrated that you will find yourself looking for things to hack around every turn.Is DEUS EX Human Revolution have Good plot?
Yes Deus Ex is a nice game in my opinion it has a great story so you should check it out. But it's just a crime if you haven't played Assassin's Creed! It's not FPS but has a great story so who cares. Another super cool game is Devil May Cry it is 3rd person like Assassin's Creed and it's awesome. And if you haven't played Half Life then.......play it, the story is, well awesome the gameplay is awesome, just an awesome game and it's FPS.Those are some of my favorite games so it's up to you to decide :)
deus ex human revolution is best story i even go as far as the best video game story of all time

If you liked the games you listed then you'll like Deus Ex.

It's got a really good storyline, There is no online so there is only campaign.

Imagine Hitman meets Metal Gear meets Mass Effect. Set in a Cyberpunk-ish future. Stealth based or shooter based, both approaches work. Dialogue choices %26amp; styles are similar to Mass Effect.

This game is definitely worth getting. The first DLC for it is also cool.
ill just list out the pros and cons, laret you decide :

    pros:

    1. good graphics.

    2. story line is excellent.

    3. never lets you to get bored.

    cons:

    1. shooting the enemies could have been better.
1st deus ex was way better

I've notice this title been around for many years but I played Deus ex for the first time and now I'm wondering if all Deus Ex titles involve this upgrade, stealth attributes. I was under the impression it was just another fps.Are all Deus Ex games like human revolution?
nope i prefer old deus ex compared to this new bs that claims to be deus exAre all Deus Ex games like human revolution?
Second game isn't very good but the principle is the same as you can use bio modifications to tailor your character to certain specifications or give yourself abilities like stealth, the ability to gain control of robots, optical cloaking, and the like. Are all Deus Ex games like human revolution?
Somehow I don't think they would've gone on to make a third game if it was "just another FPS" considering the second game is godawful. Pretty much everything Human Revolution does, the original Deus Ex did back in 2000 with the exception of cover mechanics.

Is Deus Ex: Human Revolution on PS3 good?

Gears of War 3 or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

Both of these games look epic and one of them is made by epic. LOL. Na but these games have equally good reviews and they look like they have similar cover systems. I love shooters like Mass Effect 2 but I don't know which one of these games will keep me playing and playing like CoD.

Will I ever get bored of GoW or Deus Ex.

If you guys could highlight the pros cons of both these games that would be great p.s. I have play a little bit of the previous GoW's.

    Gameplay

    Graphics

    Replayability

    Fun-ability

    Coolness : P

ThanksGears of War 3 or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Deus Ex is a must buy for anyone who likes a fantastic story and quality gameplay. It's mostly a First Person game, but it is like Fallout in the RPG kinda sense. You upgrade your character how you want to, find alternate routes to accomplish goals and play it how you want. I know it sounds kinda clich茅 in a way, but trust me it's WORTH IT. You can take on enemies like a ninja %26amp; avoid them. Or go in guns blazing and kill EVERYONE. I'm not sure if it helps to play the previous titles to understand the story but I think it's useful to get an idea of things.

The only thing that Gears 3 and DE have related is the cover system.

Gears 3 is more or less the same game as before, despite what everyone claims it is. The base game is pretty much the previous titles. Of course the new modes are added and the story is different but it's over hyped in my opinion.

    So as you asked:

    Gameplay: Deus Ex

    Graphics: Both

    Re-playability: Deus Ex

    Fun-ability: Deus Ex

    Coolness: Deus Ex

Seriously it's pretty damn fun to figure new things out.. of course G3 is going to be popular because of the multiplayer, but I guess I'm being a bit biased on my choices. Overall though, pick what you think YOU'LL enjoy the most.

One key point: You're trying to compare two different game styles

Gears is bloody as hell and is a 3rd Person Cover based game

Deus Ex is mainly First Person with 3rd Person Cover elements

With all this said: I'm not a fan boy by any means, I just see when a game is quite overrated
I have to point out something. I have enjoyed both, but because I have more of a past with Deus Ex, I chose that one. But like I said before they're both great games, it's all up to you on what you think will be the better buy. I'd get HR right now and wait for G3 to go down a bit. So you're welcome

In my opinion, you should get Gears of War 3. The all new Horde 2.0 looks totally sick. You team up with 5 gears and there is also new features to it. Such as the laser barriers. I think Deus Ex looks ok, but not really my stle. The online multiplayer in Gears of War has also improved since GoW2. ---Sweatshirt Boiz 4ever

I compared what you got to the requirements on the Steam page. Your monster of a computer has several times the recommended RAM and a great graphics card (I have the same one), plenty of hard disk space, and a processor better than the recommended one. You should be able to run the game on high graphics with no problem.

    Deus Ex: Human Revolution Question?

Just started playing the game earlier today, I saw that in the dialogue, you have options to 'confront' or 'reassure' or 'ignore' insults etc.

The options seemed pretty set in being either positive/negative replies, but my question is, how much of an effect do these have on gameplay/storyline outcomes?

For example, in ME2, answering in a negative manner (renegade) filled up the renegade bar, giving you more options to be a jerk in the future. In DA2, how you replied to people changed Hawke's personality and how she talked in the cutscenes.

Does answering and talking to people in a specific way change anything in game? Or is the choice just choosing what you get to hear in the next few seconds?

Thanks, and please, no spoilers, I'm not very far in yet. ^_^Deus Ex: Human Revolution Question?
If you make someone angry, they will be less willing to give you information or help you out which can have an effect on how much trouble you will have to go through to complete quests. You can sometimes get by having to pay someone credits for something if you can appease them. There's a certain augmentation you can get that can help you even more by showing you what type of person they are by their speech and giving you a best answer.

Deus ex human revolution closure questions?

ok so idk if anyone else felt this way after they beat the game but i feel cheated out of my life lmao i felt like all of my questions i was waiting for the answers to at the end and it just ended and didnt answer any of them such as megan reed what ever happens to her they didnt kill her and she ends up helping the main bad guy from the first game? bob page like wtf i feel so betrayed i spent the whole game looking for her trying to get answers about her and shes the one who effed everything up? idk if anyone has anything that they could tell me to maybe make me feel better about it but otherwise im pretty upset with this game and idc if you use spoilers if already played the whole gameDeus ex human revolution closure questions?
smash the game disk to the floor or burn it becuase the game sucks and deus ex human is 10 times shorter than the first deus ex judging from megan reed last comments on the credits there might be a sequel in which you get her to stop her maybe kill her that what i like to do with her

    Deus Ex: Human Revolution...?

So i've seen there is a trophy/Achievement for not killing people in the entire game except the bosses of course, my question is did those guys at the VERY start (Before you were augmented) count? Or have I been wasting my time sparing lives since then?Deus Ex: Human Revolution...?
They count - you have to sneak by them.

  • Deus Ex Human revolution help???!!!?

I Can't finish the quest from Cassandra Reed even though I found all the evidence! When i talk to her the 4 options come up and after I choose each one, the game sort of freezes (music still plays and people still move around) at the screen you normally get when you choose a speech option, except the wheel thing is empty, so i can't choose any options... wtf??? Anybody else have this problem?Deus Ex Human revolution help???!!!?
Yes, I get the exact same problem. I have tried doing another quest, creating new saves, but nothig works. This has to be a bug and hoping they fix it in a patch. For now I would just set it to Inactive, so it stops showing on radar, and come back to it later in the game, hopefully after the have a patch available. Although I do wonder what "reward" we are missing by not being able to complete it. :-(

Hopefully its nothing that crutial to solving another quest later in the game.

Can anyone just let us know if it's no big deal to not complete this one for now?Deus Ex Human revolution help???!!!?
I didn't, but it really all depends on your choices in the game. Read the walkthrough?Deus Ex Human revolution help???!!!?
I have the same problem. Seems there is a quest right next to it to go upstairs first. Gonna try that tonight, then go back to the lobby and talk to her.

    Deus Ex:Human Revolution freezes?

Every time I try to load a game it freezes! All 5 of my saves freeze! I got it used and barely any scratches on it. I tried to install it on my hard drive and it didn't work! Help?Deus Ex:Human Revolution freezes?
Make sure your computer specs meet the system requirements for the game, and if you have installed any custom content please remove it because it may be incompatible for your version of the game. Also, make sure your game is up to date as well, because this issue will have been fixed with a later patch.

    Best of luck!

Which game is more fun? I like open world action RPG's. They both look great. Which one should I get? I have a 360.Dead Island or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
i recommend rage instead of these two

deus ex human revolution is boring the open world is very small its like 1 mile big and you get explore like 3 cities you explore the city and in like 5 mintues you know your way around already [ not like gta iv takes like weeks just to know around ]

deus ex missions are boring you almost do the same over and over again and same place again

graphics suck for a 2011 game

the ammo in the game is very bad you get bored becuase of lack of ammo and boss fights in boss fights you don't have a heavy gun ] grenade rocket launcher etc ] only a little pistol

the worst is the guy adam jensen girlfriend megan is a ***** traitor that makes the game bad

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a New Game Plus mode like that in this game. That would be nice, but I haven't heard or found any way of doing anything like that.Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Yeah, games like Deus Ex are meant to be replayed from the beginning so you can try and play the game a completely different way than how you did the first time. Unfortunately, the developers force that upon you rather than making it just an option.

Is it possible for someone to tell me, somewhat detailed, how the game ends. Deus Ex: Human Revolution soundtrack?

I bought the Augmented Edition of this game and never put the second disk (which contains the soundtrack, making of, the comic, and trailers) in until today. I went to download the score but ti said I needed to place the disk in the BD drive of my computer to get them, however I do not have one in my computer. So is there another way I can get the soundtrack?Deus Ex: Human Revolution soundtrack?
ya same thing happened to me with my edition, an unfortunetly inless u get a bd drive you cant get the soundtrack....they apparently didnt make the disc to download straight to the ps3 for soem reason... people with the xbox got a dvd an they were ableto download to the console or to a pc easily....only advice i can give is go on ebay an spend about 12-16 buck on the soundtrack which has i think 6 more tracks than the one off the special edition..i know it sucks, im right htre with you there has been numerous complaints to the actual developers an distributors but they simply dont care, to exchange or remburse there consumers for there troubles.

    Deus Ex Human Revolution?

Only just got the game yesterday. Was wondering is there anywhere I can store weapons and items I have collected? I have no room in my personal inventory..Deus Ex Human Revolution?
sadly there isn't, which gave me a headache, but it only costs 1 praxis kit to upgrade your inventory which i would suggest, another would be to remember a spot on the map as a drop off point, dump off what you dont need in the immidiate future and come back and stock up when you do, it sounds like a lot of messing around and it is but i didn't waste a thing on my first playthrough :)Deus Ex Human Revolution?
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is extreme! The system is very easy to understand, with meaningful options, and you will end up with a character that supports your game play style after only a few missions worth of xp. The Hacking is a neat little sub game that you can easily master and it is so well integrated that you will find yourself looking for things to hack around every turn.Deus Ex Human Revolution?
There is a muscle upgrade that gives you more room.

Can the Deus Ex explosive pack you get with the Xbox 360 version of the game be installed after a new game? ?

I recently bought Deus Ex:Human Revolution for my Xbox 360 and me being an idiot didn't see you had to install the bonus content before the start of the game , is it possible to install it part way through the game without losing my save data ?Can the Deus Ex explosive pack you get with the Xbox 360 version of the game be installed after a new game? ?
From what I understand, it is as follows:

You will not lose your savegames, but you won't have the items in your old game, you need to start a new game to get them.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Dead Island?

I dont know which one to get.

Ive heard both are like RPG games, levelling up and all that, which is something i really like, ive looked at gameplay for both, and both look quite good, and the reviews for Deus Ex mainly range from 8.5-9/10. Also if someone here already has Deus Ex, mind telling me whether i should get it from your experience? Thank YouDeus Ex: Human Revolution or Dead Island?
Dead Island's seamless 4 player co-op multiplayer seeks to provide the most immersive multiplayer experience to date. Players can drop in and out of each other's games at any time with no loss of progress as well as the ability to continue on alone or with others.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is better game.

yDeus Ex: Human Revolution or Dead Island?
i also think deus ex is the best game i played in awhile. the shooting is nice the stealth kills are awesome and alot of side quests to complete.when i seen dead island i was very excited to play it now that i played it at my friends house(he gets games early) i think it sucks the best thing about it is the gore enough said
Deus Ex is an incredibly solid game. Probably one of the best I've played in a long time. The good thing about comparing Deus Ex to Dead Island is that they're very different games. Deus Ex is a very story-driven single player experience, whereas Dead Island is a multiplayer experience. Just how storydriven it will be remains to be seen.

I guess it boils down to: Do you want a single player game, or a multiplayer game?Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Dead Island?
    Deus Ex easy.
Deus Ex is pure awesome. Dead Island is also single player but can have co-op. Deus Ex seems to have the better story and gameplay. Well depends on what you're into. I am into RPGs so Deus Ex is my thing and I was never a fan of zombie games so Dead Island is off my list. It is up to you. Which do you like better? Watch the gameplays and other videos.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Portal 2?

I'm really deciding on what game I should get next for the computer, great explanations are advised for an increased chance for best answer.Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Portal 2?
    Puzzle vs. RPG... what

Deus Ex is a great game IF you're into RPGs with loads of backstory to *find*, character building, and freedom in gameplay. There's numerous ways to complete a mission and that's pretty much the selling point of the game. Each part of the game (especially the gunplay) is not up to today's standards, but the sum of the parts are more than they should be. It's worth trying even if you don't like RPGs, but you won't like it as much. The best price that I have seen is on greenmangaming.com, you can find voucher codes that will reduce the price further down.

Portal 2 on the other hand, is just a great game all around. It has perfect pacing for a puzzle game, ensuring that even the worst player can finish the game if they pay attention. I would recommend Portal 2 to practically anyone, and it's just $30 with possible further discounts later on on Steam.

My recommendation is to just buy both of them, so it totals to $70-80 (or less with discounts) =PDeus Ex: Human Revolution or Portal 2?
if your playing on the computer you should move to a console !!!! but i say that you should get them both i mean portal two isnt that much money anymore and deus ex you can find for like forty bucksDeus Ex: Human Revolution or Portal 2?
In my opinion i would go with Deus Ex since it has alot more customization and free roam ability compared to portal.
That's a Puzzle game vs. an FPS. How do you even pick?

i HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE GAME I BOUGHT IT FOR MY X360.THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE CURSOR IN WHICH I AIM WITH TO SHOOT HAS ACCIDENTLY DISAPPEARED.IT WAS THERE I THINK I PLAYED WITH SOMETHING NOW I CANT SHOOT ENEMIES.ANY HELP ??????Problems in DEUS EX HUMAN REVOLUTION XBOX 360?

first check in the settings maybe you changed something in the controls or changed your cursor setting you can also try making another profile on your xbox 360 (offline obviously) start up your game and if you are able to shoot check the setting on that then compare the settings to the one on your online profile if its not that then delete the save for your deus ex and start again, I know its annoying but its better to start again and be able to shoot enemies then having to somehow kill bosses without having to shoot

Should I get Missing Link before starting Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

Just got Deus Ex: HR for 360 in the mail, and I'm aware of Missing Link that fills in some gap of time in the game. It was just on sale recently, but it's back up to 1200 MS points, which is quite a lot. I'd like to start playing, but if the DLC is well-integrated into the story, I think I'd rather wait and buy the DLC the next time it's on sale.

Has anyone played through both that can give some feedback?

DE:HR is legendary and even tho it has no online it has replay value but if u want a games with online then get DI as it will be awesome as well

in the end i say get both but u should get DE:HR pre-owned as there is no online so u prob wont need any online codes meaning pre-owned wont affect anything except the price.

i have DE:HR already n im getting DI as well.
There are a lot of zombie games out there already. Once you've killed one zombie, you've killed them all. Though there is no other game that has such a bad *** as Adam Jensen. Plus you can talk to people in DE:HR, you can't talk to zombies without them biting you or something.Should I get Dead Island or Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Dead Island its more fun and really fun to play with some friends as well. Also Deus Ex is a little boring sometimes.

I wanted to try the game out because I heard it was pretty good.Do i have to play the previous deus ex games before playing human revolution?
You don't need to play the other Deus Ex games. Human Revolution is actually a prequel to the prior games, so there's nothing to be confused about.

Of course, both the original and Invisible War are incredible games on their own merits.Do i have to play the previous deus ex games before playing human revolution?
    no you dont

if you do want to play any of the previous ones the one most worth playing is the orginal

keep in mind that its 12 years old so dont expect any eye candyDo i have to play the previous deus ex games before playing human revolution?
Deus ex 1 ai is a little more hard, missions are alot more complex, has alot more story, is a much longer game, and u can't just go to a waypoint, u have to listen to how to get the the location aswell as what you ned to do there, no waypoints.
i beat HR in 7 hrs.
    deus ex 1 25 hrs.
    first play thru.

Dues ex HR is a prequel to deus ex 1.

Was my choice of buying Deus Ex: Human Revolution a good one?

I watched the reviews and trailers, i think the game looks good and the reviews are great (9/10 games weasel, 8.5/10 gamespot, 85/100 metascore) but in the comments of ALL the videos they say the game sucks or looks sucky.

My friend says its because they played the originals (never played deus ex before, any of em) and they just dont find it to be as good as the others.

example: everyone thought the duke nukem game was stupid, i found it fun, i never played a duke nukem game before and i found the comedic style of the game to be quite different form most shooters.

btw, is downloading now, pc version. Was my choice of buying Deus Ex: Human Revolution a good one?
Yes, the game is supposed to be a good next-step in the story.

    BUT -

I REALLY recommend that you get the other two and play them FIRST, before you play, "Revolution." You will be missing out on a good story-line and LOTS of back-story. You'll also have an idea of what to expect with the new edition. It's been years since the other versions were out, so you can pick them up very cheaply.

example: everyone thought the duke nukem game was stupid, i found it fun, i never played a duke nukem game before and i found the comedic style of the game to be quite different form most shooters.

btw, is downloading now, pc version. Was my choice of buying Deus Ex: Human Revolution a good one?
The only way for you to know is to play it.

Most thumbs down game reviews are because of people that couldn't play it good, got pissed off and gave a angery review. I always look for "player made videos" of the games I want to buy.Was my choice of buying Deus Ex: Human Revolution a good one?
Yes, I'm playing it and it is amazing. Deus Ex always had a unique blend of FPS and RPG, and some people may get put off by that. The first one, I admit, is a bit sh**ty (THAT VOICE ACTING) which is why it's just a cult hit. The only big flaw that most reviewers agree on is the boss fights, which, if you play you will know, is a major space flea from nowhere up in the a**.

Duke Nukem 3D was fun in its times too.

Should i get deus ex human revolution?

my birthday is august 27th and i wanna know if i should get this game any thoughts on thisShould i get deus ex human revolution?
I'm getting it, and I have never played the first two games, you should read the previews, watch the videos etc, if you think it's cool get it! Or if your on the fence just rent it first and see if you like it.

  • Will Deus Ex Human Revolution be?

As intriguing and able to draw the player in? or will it be over hyped and just be a game play thing rather than a cool story? Will Deus Ex Human Revolution be?
From what I've read I lean towards the first option - but in the end we won't know before it's out.

Deus Ex Human Revolution, Bodycount, or Dead Island?

Which game should I get?Deus Ex Human Revolution, Bodycount, or Dead Island?
Deus Ex is getting rave reviews right now, so that seems like the best choice.
Dead Island doesn't look too promising but who knows it might be a great game... or maybe not. I would wait until some reviews come out, personally I wouldn't take a gamble on it.
    Never even heard of Bodycount.
Deus Ex is one of the best games I've played in a long time.Deus Ex Human Revolution, Bodycount, or Dead Island?
I am loving Deus ex!!! but I am excited about Dead Island, but I will choose Deus Ex although I haven't play Dead Island.
Deus no doubt i pre-ordered it and love it.Deus Ex Human Revolution, Bodycount, or Dead Island?
deus ex human revolution is the best from these choices

    Deus Ex Human Revolution DLC?

If you entered the code when do you get the in-game items?Deus Ex Human Revolution DLC?
You have to enter them before starting the game. If you didnt, you'll have to start again for them to include themselves. Depending on what downloadable content pack you have, "The Explosive pack" for example, gives you grenade launcher, an exclusive mission, automatic unlocking device, and obvious explosives. The mission will randomly trigger later on and the other items just appear in-game as 'loot'. So any pack you have, even if you do have the explosive pack, should work like this.

But if your far into the game and have recieved no items. Try the gas station near the Sarif building. If no items are there, you probably have to enter the codes into playstation store again then start a new game.

Hope I Helped! :)Deus Ex Human Revolution DLC?
from what i understand all the dlc items are spread out through the game so you just got to look

Is Deus Ex Human Revolution worth getting?

There is currently a special on steam right now. The game is 60% off, making it just over 10$ (just over 13.50$ for the "augmented edition"). My first question is if the game is any good? I haven't played any other Deus Ex titles. My other question is what is the difference between Deus Ex HR, and Deus Ex HR Augmented Edition (on steam). I know that if I were buying it from Best buy or Game Stop I'd be getting a boxed set, but on steam, I won't be getting that. So what's the extra 3.50$ for?Is Deus Ex Human Revolution worth getting?
Yes get it! Its a awesome game that can be played a ton of diff ways (stealth, science, shoot everything up) and mutiple endings. With a great storyline full of conspiracy theories. The bundle comes with the expansions extra missionsIs Deus Ex Human Revolution worth getting?
Good GODS, get it now if it's on sale for that cheap.

I would imagine the extra tag price would include extra DLC - not sure what, exactly - but usually that's what extended or special editions come with nowadays, so that way it samples what DLC has to offer and encourage people to download more. Mass Effect 2 did something similar. Is Deus Ex Human Revolution worth getting?
The game is DEFINITELY worth it. The previous games in the series are great too.

Not sure what comes with the bundle, but it's probably a good deal.
The augmented edition comes with a few extra missions. I love Deus Ex Human Revolution I have spent over 50 hours on it (Steam) and i am loving it. Just trying to get the last 2 achievements

Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution & The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

I've just received an email from GameSpot that this games are the most popular two games, I am just wondering whats so great about this games, I've checked them on YouTube, they're not too great, Deus Ex all you do is reading, walking, killing same as Elder Scrolls V you only kill monsters and walk nothing else, can someone explain to me more about this two games?Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution %26amp; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
Sure... Because running around shooting people over and over again never gets boring...

If you're not interested in something it doesn't mean you have to bash it, besides Skyrim hasn't been released yet so you haven't seen any proper gameplay.
Deus Ex can be any number of things depending on how you play it. It can be a run and gun shooter if you turn the difficulty down, or it can be a stealth game like splinter cell, or it can be about reading and hacking, or about using social skills to achieve your goals. If you haven't played the originals I'd strongly recommend you picking up a copy on eBay or Steam.

ESV hasn't been released just yet, but it's your standard fantasy RPG with high production values and good detail. Again, if you haven't played Elder Scrolls IV or III, I would again urge you to pick those up.

In the case of both games, ESPECIALLY DX:HR, you're missing out on half the greatness if you didn't play the original. Seriously, Human Revolution is so much more appreciable having played the original game.Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution %26amp; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
It's all about the story in the game,

Deus Ex and Elder Scrolls games are massive and take a lot longer to play through than your regular game, they are also non-linear which means you don't have to follow a set path through the game, you get to make choices that influence the way the game plays out and ends.

They are popular because people get to play them pretty much how they want to and not a way that the game developer wants them to.
Well, they are well made games, with a deep and interesting story and characters. Apparently something you can't appreciate.Whats so great about Deus Ex: Human Revolution %26amp; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
Games are mostly designed for violence over intelligence thats why most people are attracted toward it.
Isn't that what you do in most games?

The way they are made is amazing but it is personal choice and most people like these kind of games
Depends on what you like in your games.

For me, there is only one reason to play these games - choice.

    Deus ex human revolution bug?

When I get to the computers that are supposed to allow me to open doors, disable turrets, etc. they never let me do that and it always says restricted. I've almost beaten the game now so I know it's not a one time thing, anyone know how to fix this?Deus ex human revolution bug?
You can't just take over a turret or open doors. You first need to purchase the upgrade which allows you to control/open things using your praxis points. These are all available under the hacking section.

    Deus Ex Human Revolution replay?

Batman Arkham City or Deus Ex Human Revolution?

Which game of the two should I get for my Ps3? I Love being stealthy in video games but I don't own any games dedicated to stealth, just games with stealths parts in them (uncharted 1-3 etc).

I heard on deus ex, you can play the entire game stealth like and that seems like my type of game. But I heard the A.I isn't the best and it can get annoying.

Batman has been getting Nothing but amazing reviews and great feedback and it looks amazing. Not sure if theres much stealth in this pick, so could someone please explain how stealth is in this game (sneaking up on enemies, using stealth to avoid etc). I also HEARD (not saying this is true), that it is a bit like Infamous 2, which I though was great.

    Also

    Which game has more replayability?

Better story (havn't played the previous games and not the biggest batman fanatic out there?)

Do I need to play Arkham Asylum to understand AC's story (I know Human Rev is a prequel).

Thanks for reading and answering. Getting bith isn't an option.Batman Arkham City or Deus Ex Human Revolution?
They're both awesome games, it depends what you like.

Deus Ex gives you the option to choose how your character progresses. If you want to you can make him a tank or, as you'll probably want to do, a stealthy ninja type character with invisibility etc. The setting for the game is great especially if you like sci-fi and although the AI isn't the best in the world, it's not terrible and certainly not enough to detract from the gameplay.

Batman Arkham Asylum was a great game but you probably don't need to play it to understand its sequel, as long as you have a basic knowledge of the villains in Batman. You say you're not a fan of Batman and one of the games qualities was the way in which it portrayed Batman's various nemesis'

and managed to stay faithful to the comics. There is stealth in the game and yes, you do have to sneak up on people. Hiding in shadows and distracting enemies is an essential part of gameplay. This game will probably last you longer as the game world is bigger and there are loads of hidden collectibles, challenges and secrets to unlock which is fun.

As to which game is better, I personally think Deus Ex though I suspect most people would disagree with me. Arkham City has certainly got better scores in the reviews and is still an excellent game. If you like Sci-fi and a good stealth/shoot-em-up then Deus Ex is for you. If you like finding collectibles, exploring a large open map and have even a passing interest in the Batman franchise then Arkham City is your game.

Hope this helps.Batman Arkham City or Deus Ex Human Revolution?
    Hey chip and dip,

If you have played the previous Deus ex than I would say that you would probably enjoy this but if u haven't u wouldn't get as much excitement out of this as.

With batman Arkam City you don't really need to play Arkam Asylum to under stand the story line. You do get flash backs so it's all good. Also what u have heard is right, it is quite like infamous.

I would say that batman Arkam City is the game with better a story line and awesome action.Batman Arkham City or Deus Ex Human Revolution?
having played both of these games i can tell you that the entire story of deus ex is stealth and you are meant to do it without being seen. whereas in batman you have the choice of silently taken the enemies out or running in head first and beating them to death. i also think that batman has a better story and does have stealt specific challenges.

in my opinion i would choose batman, hope i helped :)
Both games are truely amazing...i honestly couldnt pick one as they are two of my favorite games last year. I absolutely love Batman, but i also adore Deus Ex.

Honestly flip a coin, both are amazing...but if you do get Deus Ex by all means play through in non lethal fashion, it is an incredible experience.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. How did you end it? *MAJOR SPOILERS*?

Okay firstly those who haven't play the game yet close this question! I certainly don't feel like ruining the game for you as it is an amazing game. So, just finish Deus Ex and I have to say it is one of the greatest games I've played so far. I want to know what ending did you pick and why.

    DID YOU

    *Darrow's choice*

Tell mankind the truth about augmentation? This will result human augmentation to be permanently banned and many lives will be lost and there will be life without augmentations in future generations.

    *Taggart's choice*

deliver Taggart's message that blame the event on tainted augmentation anti-rejection drugs thus ensuring tight regulation on augmentations? This will put the illuminati into greater power.

    *Sarif's suggestion*

blame Humanity Front for the biochip sabotage thus ensuring that augmentation is developed further? This will push augmentation technology further but businesses go on锘?a freakin rampage.

    OR

You could push the self-destruct button and every secret and every conspiracy will be left in Panchea and no one walks out of it alive leaving mankind with questions. This will kill Adam Jensen, Taggart, Darrow and Sarif. Mankind will be left to make their own decisions and rise up once again.

I chose the last one. I believe no one has the right which patch mankind should take. What did you pick and why? No dumb answers please.Deus Ex: Human Revolution. How did you end it? *MAJOR SPOILERS*?
To me there were 2 right choices; Sarif's and the self destruct. I believe that the technology has great potential and can't just die. And in the right hands it can be put to good use. But the last option also seems right but it does lead to the events that take place in the original game and the creation of nanites...so picking that is a little tough. I do know that Megan deserves to die :)Deus Ex: Human Revolution. How did you end it? *MAJOR SPOILERS*?
I ended it about 20 minutes in when I realized it was awful.Deus Ex: Human Revolution. How did you end it? *MAJOR SPOILERS*?
    One in a half second.
The self destruct button would also kill a lot of innocent civilians still alive on the station. Including Adam Jensen. And the cute German girl hiding in the LIMB clinic waiting for rescue. It wouldn't solve anything anyway because humanity is still in trouble in the 2050s with the Gray Death, living in squalor after the great collapse, civil war, and conspiracies vying for power.

The Illuminati's resurgence will happen later too anyway.

Not a fan of corporatism and the perpetual abuse and ruthless profiteering and exploitation, so no Sarif.

In my opinion I think either Darrow's choice or the self destruct were the canon endings. And Adam either goes into hiding afterward or dies with Panchea. Since there are really no augmented people seen in JC Denton's time except a few like JC, Paul, Anna, Gunther, and Bob Page. The technology must've been set back majorly. And in Alex Denton era, the augs were mainly the subculture of the Omar who've turned themselves into freaks and deals in black market augs.

Really Darrow or self destruct are the best endings, to me at least. I go with Darrow because I don't want Adam to die. And Science even today really isn't science anymore when you consider all the corporate influence and establishment propaganda and technology more and more are being used to control humanity as the ruling class and elite class sees fit. None of the endings are good in Deus Ex, just what you feel is the lesser evil.

Not that any of them matters by JC's time. The most you can do is delay everyone's plans for about 30 years.

Deus Ex Human Revolution or Dead Island?

Well I'v seen gameplay videos of both Deus Ex and Dead Island, and they both look like fun games and they both got high reviews. But im confused over which one I should buy.Deus Ex Human Revolution or Dead Island?
Dude. That's a hard one. Why not both? Dead Island isn't like evey other zombie game and Deus Ex is the most detailed game ever made. It's all up to you.Deus Ex Human Revolution or Dead Island?
Well, Deus Ex is more an RPG and not a horror based video game like Dead Island. I'd suggest you review your interests. Do you like mindless carnage where you are slaughtering tons of infected, or do you like a game with a methaphorical plot, with many messages, and a strong character and plot to keep you interested. Personally, being a liker for RPG's I'd suggest Deus Ex Human Revolution. I think it has a compelling story and really puts you in the shoes of the protagonist. But please don't get me wrong, it is all about your interests. Happy shopping:)Deus Ex Human Revolution or Dead Island?

I'm guessing that they won't but I just want to make sure so I don't do like 80% of the games then realize I can't get the achievement for not killing anyone but bosses.Do Non lethal takedowns count as a kill on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
No, non-lethal means they aren't a kill. Though watch how or where you place the bodies then, if they fall too far or end up in water or something, they may die anyways. Plus I've had it where I drag a body around a corner to hide them, then saved and had to reload the game, but he showed up dead, so there seems to be some glitch with bodies at some places..Do Non lethal takedowns count as a kill on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
No, they don't count as kills, even though an incapacitated enemy will actually stay so unless another enemy wakes them up.

Do you think his character design is well thought out and fits with the theme of the game, or is it generic and overused? How do I set the 360 controller as the default in Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PC?

I have recently purchased Deus Ex: Human Revolution on sale off Steam. I like to play with my 360 controller and have it set up and working excellently on all my other games, but when I play on this game the control icons seem to switch between the keyboard and mouse when I do not have input on my controller to controller icons when I do.

For example, I am standing in front of a button, while I am standing still it shows [E Use] but when I move using my controller it shows [X Use] then switches back when I stop moving. It isn't life threatening but it is annoying and I was hoping that someone might have a fix for it.

Is there a release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution yet?

anyway that answer to ur Q would b a YES %26lt;%26lt;%26lt; big YES
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is very easy to understand, with meaningful options, and you will end up with a character that supports your game play style after only a few missions worth of xp. The Hacking is a neat little sub game that you can easily master and it is so well integrated that you will find yourself looking for things to hack around every turn.Should I get Deus Ex Human Revolution?
Yes! My god it is so, so good.
Yes. So far it's gotten great reviews, and the first Deus Ex is a masterpiece and widely considered by some as one of the best PC games of all time.Should I get Deus Ex Human Revolution?

Should I get Deus Ex Human Revolution on PC or Xbox 360?

I'm planning on pre-ordering the game with the Tactical Enhancement Pack and I want to know if I should get it on PC or Xbox 360.Should I get Deus Ex Human Revolution on PC or Xbox 360?
i would say get the pc version, you can get better graphics, you don't have to pay for gold for it, and you can use a keyboard and mouse which is far better than a pad for shooters (unless your pc specs are quite low, then your 360 might actually be a better option)

Or could be graphics problem with your card. Not sure witch card you would have but from what I've looked at on g6 decent for a laptop. Not the strongest lineup though. try reinstalling that doesn't work maybe the card.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution DEP instant crash help?

When I try to run the game through steam it won't open Data Execution Prevention stops it from opening. I've tried running as admin, changing DEP setting and scouring the web. Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks for reading and that goes double for posting.Deus Ex: Human Revolution DEP instant crash help?
I have this exact same problem so I went into my computers interface and directly turned off my DEP and it still won't start. My conclusion you ask? Go to Gamestop and pick up a copy for an Xbox 360 or PS3 console but other than that I have no solution.

Is Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC) too difficult for a beginner?

Strange question... I'm not an experienced gamer and I don't really have a talent for shooters, but it is really annoying because I like the look of this game. I don't want to play it if I'm just going to keep dying in it or if I can't figure it out, lol. So can I have an honest answer: is this game too difficult for someone who is **** at gaming? Is Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC) too difficult for a beginner?
This is one of the best games EVER made.

As a beginner, you'll be eased into it, as long as you can read the control instructions. If you struggle with mouse and keys, you could try a PC hand-held controller- That's what I use. The best part is, I hate "multiplayer" and I am playing Deus Ex over and over again in "Story mode" because it that good.

I would have paid sixty quid for this game let alone the 30 I did pay.

I'm **** at gaming too, although I've been at it for over 20 years- I hate First Person Shooters. But I did play the original Deus Ex and I struggled like hell at the time. This one is easy as long as you get the "Typhoon Mod" first!!!
Brilliant. (Just a shame it wasn't a little more "Adult" than it was)Is Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC) too difficult for a beginner?
It is actually a pretty hard game. I've been playing video games years but this game REALLY pissed me off haha so it's really not a good start up gameIs Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC) too difficult for a beginner?
I think he means the Typhoon upgrade in the actual game, not a mod.

Help with Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

When I try to launch it from Steam, it says "Preparing to launch Deus Ex: Human Revolution" and eventually that window goes away, but the game never comes up. I've tried various fixes, like creating a new user on Windows and trying it from there, but that doesn't work. I've deleted the game and redownloaded it, but it doesn't work. I've also noticed a bunch of "dxhr_620_crash_2011_8_23T20_14_29C0.mdm鈥?type files in the game's folder. Here are the specs.

    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz

    4.0 GB RAM

    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650

Windows 7 64-bitHelp with Deus Ex: Human Revolution?
Hey I HAD the same exact issues as you seem to be having! And I pretty much have nearly the same specs, so I remembered to come back here to help you out since I was glad that I wasn't the only one with the problem and because I figured it out.

If you've already made sure that your drivers are up-to-date (like I did) and already tried re-downloading/re-installing the game (like I did...) and whatever else, then I think the answer to your question is the next step:

Since you have 64-bit like me, browse to this extension:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Then scroll down to (or just start typing) "atiadlxy.dll" and change the ".dll" part to ".bak"!!!
So in the end it should say "atiadlxy.bak"

Now try launching the game again in Steam!!! It should work!!
I spent pretty much an ENTIRE day on trying to get this game to work and turns out it's a tiny file name somewhere that I had to change that wasn't even part of the game but more so part of the system ...
So I hope this fix works for you! Let me know if it doesn't.

OTHERS: If anyone else is stuck but have 32-bit Windows then go to (C:\Windows\System32) instead and change "atiadlxx.dll" to "atiadlxx.bak"!! Then try launching the game :)

In Deus Ex Human Revolution, what is the best strategy to acrue PP (augmentation points) over the course of...?

I'm a completionist in games like this to a point, so I hate only unlocking a sliver of the guy's potential. So in Deus Ex Human Revolution, what is the best strategy to acrue the most PP (augmentation points) over the course of the game? For example, even though I've never played the original, I've learned that non-lethal tactics will earn more experience, and also that tranq darts are the more common loot out of my 2 first choices of non-lethal weapons, but it's common enough to have enough ammo to use on everyone. I used a takedown, but used my only extra energy cell on the first board on the first guy, so that doesn't look like a promising strategy. What ammo/tactic should I be using and what kind of things should I be looking for (empty grates, destructible walls, etc)?In Deus Ex Human Revolution, what is the best strategy to acrue PP (augmentation points) over the course of...?
I rarely use stealth (but I get bonus points inadvertently a lot even when I'm not trying to be stealthy or was caught or wasn't doing it on purpose or don't know what I did to earn them) and never use non-lethal weapons (unless I'm out of everything else or if I have to), I still get enough points to unlock almost all of the augmentations.

Being a marksman gets you the Marksman xp bonus for each headshot kill you make. The pistol is best for this because it's good at putting in well-placed shots. You can also do this with a sniper rifle, a weapon with a laser sight, or other weapons if your aim is good. You can get this bonus too at random if a turret or sentry you hack kills the enemies with a headshot.

Silent takedowns and nonlethal kills gets you the Merciful Soul xp bonus. I can't exactly remember if an augmentation upgrade had anything to do with it, but the last battery still recharges if you've used up all the others.

Not being seen by enemies on a level gets you the Ghost xp bonus. Watch their patrol paths or field of view. Wait until they turn their backs before killing them, and when no one is looking. The cloak augmentation is good for this, and so is the wall lean.

Read all the e-books and newspapers, even if just hitting the button and closing out. You get the Scholar xp bonus for being an avid reader.

Not setting off alarms on a level gets you the Smooth Operator bonus. There are always control panels nearby to shut them off, or avoid being seen, or stop someone trying to set off an alarm before they do.

Hack every computer and control panel you see. This is really just a waste of time but you get a lot of xp for it. Get those cube-shaped nodes for goodies (credits, virus program, worm program, or xp points). You also get the hacking bonuses like script kiddie, gray hat, black hat, master hacker, etc.

Go into every air duct or secret area to get the Pathfinder xp bonus. Again, this is really a waste of time. Except for the secret passages that gets you to some useful reward like a heavy weapon or a praxis kit. Find those back doors.

Find the hidden areas behind walls with a crack in it. They often have credits, weapons, weapons upgrades, or praxis kits. You can actually get a good number of praxis kits by finding these secret areas. The augmented strength punch and object highlighting helps with this, or an explosive. If you go into every room with a lock, you'd be surprised at what you could find. Like some apartments being an illegal augmentation lab with praxis kits. Explore every bit of the levels.

Some praxis kits will actually be just in plain sight for your taking, but it could be a trap.

Get a lot of credits, so you can buy those praxis kits from the LIMB clinics (even Panchea has one). You get an automatic 10k credit bonus (plus new weapons) in the beginning if you have the pre-order or DLC. Or ransack every room, closet drawer, office, safe (wall safes are often hidden behind suspicious picture frames on walls), lockup, and locker you see and look for credit chips lying around throughout a level. You can also sell inventory items you don't need to arms dealers to get credits, including picking up enemies' dropped weapons or stuff laying around and go trade them.

Doing all the secondary objectives or side quests gets you the Completionist xp. But some people in the side quests may reward you with a praxis kit. So can a silver tongue. like Bobby Bao in the Hive nightclub who gives you a praxis kit if you do his side quest. And general xp during the missions.
